I do not like it either, especially because it weakens the intent to
bring libpostproc back properly, but Michael made the decision and the
time to object it was before
“12b853530a Add tools/merge-all-source-plugins”.

I see it has been pushed depite this and Michael asking for discussion
on the ML. It is a serious breach of protocol.
