From: Nicolas George <george@nsup.org> To: FFmpeg development discussions and patches <ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org> Subject: Re: [FFmpeg-devel] [RFC] Subtitle Filtering Ramp-Up Date: Fri, 6 Jun 2025 16:32:32 +0200 Message-ID: <aEL8AFXXvzaVan3d@phare.normalesup.org> (raw) In-Reply-To: <20250604204216.GT29660@pb2> Michael Niedermayer (HE12025-06-04): > Is it possible to create 3 testcases that one can just copy and paste to the > command line to see these 3 problems ? Absolutely. I made sure to give all the necessary information all in one place. Turning my words into command lines is a very easy task. Now, if you expect me to do it, think again. I will not spend efforts into helping somebody who repeatedly insulted me and others doing something suicidal only an idiot would do. > If its possible, it would clearly show the problems and avoid a never > ending disagreement The never ending disagreement is there because softworkz wants that there is a never ending disagreement, the alternative being either abandoning this broken patch series or having to work at things that are obviously still beyond his skills. If softworkz had any pride as a developer and any trust in his own code, he would have made a point of checking these issues days ago. The fact that he prefers spending hours writing verbal diarrhea to this mailing-list over spending minutes testing what I pointed him to test tells you all you need to know about his attitude.
