Subject: [FFmpeg-devel] [PATCH v5] vvcdec: add thread executor
Date: Tue, 22 Aug 2023 21:32:28 +0800
Message-ID: <TYSPR06MB64334CEE2145D7CFDFA9A94AAA1FA@TYSPR06MB6433.apcprd06.prod.outlook.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <TYSPR06MB64330156947AEE87488F6682AA14A@TYSPR06MB6433.apcprd06.prod.outlook.com>
The executor design pattern was inroduced by java
<https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/20/docs/api/java.base/java/util/concurrent/Executor.html>
it also adapted by python
<https://docs.python.org/3/library/concurrent.futures.html>
Compared to handcrafted thread pool management, it greatly simplifies the thread code.
