They are wondering also about gpu acceleration and wondering wether vulkan decode would be an option. The one thing missing though would be vp9 support. I found a branch here: https://github.com/airlied/FFmpeg/tree/vulkan-vp9-decode, but it seems stale. Are there any plans to bring vulkan vp9 decode onto master?
