The General Assembly is the group that can override an objection or decide in case of a dispute that doesnt fall under the TC. funding is not a techincal matter so its not for the TC. A formal vote was not opened because not a single member asked for one or supported the objection from vittorio. But i encourage you and vittorio to publically discuss your objections: "I don't think any funding scheme should be authorized." from here: https://lists.ffmpeg.org/archives/list/ffmpeg-devel@ffmpeg.org/message/DYTV6QXM2KUW7QHTPLMGDQF6WXLR2YJV/ I belive close to 100% of FFmpeg supporters, support some funding scheme for FFmpeg. thx [...] -- Michael GnuPG fingerprint: 9FF2128B147EF6730BADF133611EC787040B0FAB Does the universe only have a finite lifespan?
