We are not a for-profit company, so there are no shareholders to hold us
accountable if we fail to deliver on some "performance" metric. Besides,
performance metrics can be gamed. I think it would be better to just put it
to a vote, as was initially discussed (iirc). The only thing that should
matter is what the community *prefers* to use.
