If you drop bombs on a foreign country and kill a hundred thousand
innocent people, expect your government to call the consequence
"unprovoked inhuman terrorist attacks" and use it to justify dropping
more bombs and killing more people. The technology changed, the idea is old.

Only bugfix can be backported to 6.1.1, not for new features and optimizations.

Any chance of getting the patch submitted in
<https://ffmpeg.org/pipermail/ffmpeg-devel/2022-September/302148.html>
into this or a subsequent release? I had to apply it manually when
upgrading our build system to 6.1 recently.

This first needs to be applied to master before it can be put in a release.

https://ffmpeg.org/pipermail/ffmpeg-devel/2024-January/319173.html
could be a good candidate.
