Subject: [FFmpeg-devel] [PATCH] configure: set PT_GNU_STACK to 1M (PR #21192)
Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2025 14:51:28 -0000
Message-ID: <176572388876.60.8879902758681787048@2cb04c0e5124> (raw)

PR #21192 opened by Kacper Michajłow (kasper93)
URL: https://code.ffmpeg.org/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/pulls/21192
Patch URL: https://code.ffmpeg.org/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/pulls/21192.patch

This requests stack size. With Musl libc, the default thread stack size
is 128KB, which is not enough for all the code.

One example is VVC's put_scaled() which uses ~320KB on stack. While this
would be good to improve this and other instances where stack usage is
excessive in the meantime let's request size as needed.
