 From the two people i remember that were strongly against AVWriter, one 
was a huge contributor, and left. So he certainly doesn't fit your 
description.

No, i didn't. And you're not winning any favors from anyone by calling 
criticism and objections "worthless". It makes you look really bad, and 
displeasing to work with.
